You're a new member. Now what? Some answers to FAQ

Welcome to the gym! You're a new member, and you're ready to go. Here are a few FAQ's I have encountered over the years that may help you.

I lost my keyfob. How can I get into the gym? Can I get it replaced?

Do not worry! The door can be remotely opened. Contact info@refinery.fit to make arrangements for this and to get a replacement keyfob. Yes keyfobs can be replaced; there is a $25 replacement fee as they are surprisingly expensive!

The hours of the gym are 6 AM - 10 PM but I need access earlier or later than those hours. Is that possible?

Yes. Extended hours can be granted on a case by case basis. If granted, extended hours are 5 AM - 11 PM.

I notice where the towels are, but where do I leave my used towel?

Used towels can be placed in white hampers marked with a small towel logo located in each room, strength and functional.

How do I connect to Wifi?

Complimentary wifi is available to all members of the gym, and the password is located through the QR code on top of the Water dispenser in the main strength room. Please do not share this password with non members of the gym.

There is equipment that I am unfamiliar with at the gym. How do I learn how to use these?

Contact the gym at info@refinery.fit to set up an orientation so you can learn how to use machines. Coming soon I am looking to create instructional videos for the use of equipment at the gym that will be posted to Youtube and to this site.

I have a guest that wants to use the gym, and I know I have 3 guest passes. How do I use them?

In order to use your guest pass, you can check them in on the iPad kiosk by the front door. Select “check in” and search for your name, then click and you’ll arrive at a selection point where you can select either your main monthly membership status or one of your guest passes. Select one of your guest passes for them. Then check in again under your own name for yourself. Please make sure your guests have signed the liability waiver before they arrive! Reach out to us if you need any help.
