New Class: Tennis Fitness — Rotational Strength, Power, Footwork & Agility
Your serve doesn't start in your shoulder. It starts in your feet, loads through your hips, and unloads through your core — every groundstroke is a full-body rotation. If that chain leaks power, no amount of extra court time will fix it.
That's why we're launching Tennis Fitness at Refinery: a six-week small-group class for adult tennis players who want more pop on every ball — and more left in the tank for the third set.
What we train:
• Rotational strength & power — med-ball throws, cable rotations, and anti-rotation work that build a coil you can feel on your serve and forehand.
• Footwork — split-step timing, first-step quickness, and court coverage so you arrive balanced instead of reaching.
• Agility — lateral movement, deceleration, and change of direction, trained the way points are actually played: short, sharp, and reactive.
• Durability — shoulders, hips, and backs built to handle match volume without the next-day tax.
